I was extremely nervous about shipping our 80 lbs lab to Germany, especially during the covid crisis with limited flights. Heather was amazingly responsive to all my inquiries when we shipped our Rhodesian Ridgeback back to the US and needed ground transportation from GA to NC. She kept us updated when our dog’s flight was detoured to Charlotte, and when she finally landed in Atlanta. Ground transportation was speedy, and our old dog was in great hands. Because this was during Covid, what was a direct flight from CLT to MUC on the way over became a three day journey because the flights out were so limited. We thought we had all our stuff together but COVID had other plans for us. Although we were experienced moving pets international before, we were not prepared for all the back and forth of 2020. We used Continental Pet Relocation to ship my son’s dog to him after he PCS’d to Germany. Katie and Heather were amazing and communicated with me the whole time. We followed their directions to a tee and had no issues. They work with the vets to get the USDA certificate done quickly. They were reasonably priced and I would use them again. Moving our dogs to Japan from the east coast was expensive, but I found them to be competitively priced and they make the process easy. Charlotte, NC to Tokyo, Japan: Heather and her crew were amazing, I asked for a Christmas miracle and they pulled it off seamlessly. During the Christmas season of 2020, height of the pandemic, everything pure chaos….. and with only a few days to work with, she and her team moved my large breed dog from Charlotte, NC, to Tokyo, Japan on Christmas Eve. Constant communication, she had so much patience with me and my frazzled self, and took the utmost care of my best furry friend. I highly recommend Continental Pet Relocation! We just used them to bring our giant breed dog and our two cats from WA state to Germany. They kept us in the loop throughout the entire process, guiding us and even reaching out to the vet offices to let them know what we would be needing. They broke everything down into easy to follow steps that made it all much less overwhelming. When we were about 3 weeks or so from our flight dates we had to delay everything by a month due to the military still processing paperwork. They didn't miss a beat and as soon as we were able to give them the new time frame they were rescheduling. When we realized we had no one who could watch our pets for us between our flights and the pets' flights they were able to get them booked at an amazing boarding kennel that was willing and able to get the health certificates for them and get them checked into the airport for us. The gentleman who got our animals through customs in Germany was just as professional and kind. When the pets were at the kennel we were e-mailed updates and pictures of them (which really helped reassure me since our dog was already stressing out, knowing something big was coming, so I was worried). When they were checked in at the airport they sent us a link to track the flight as well as pictures of all the animals in the crates and the paperwork attached to their crate. They also e-mailed us again when the flight was delayed as well as when the flight took off. I know this is a long review but I was very impressed and want everyone to know how caring, trustworthy, capable, thorough, and kind they are. 🙂

Absolutely fantastic service. With the most stressful move we've had to yet, Continental has been absolutely worth every penny. Best with both price and reviews, their service has been absolutely above and beyond of what I could have asked of any pet shipping company. They reviewed all our documents to make sure they were good. When we ran into problems with getting the health certificate, they guided us through the process. When we found out we had to have a 2 day health certificate because I wasn't going to be in country within 5 days of the pets arrival, they helped through that. Reviewed the health certificate before I left the vet to make sure all was good. When the original flight they were booked for got an 18 hour delay they boarded the dogs in Atlanta at no cost to us. Kept us updated with the dogs movement and any status changes to the flight. Got in touch for us to make sure the receiving airport had spots open for boarding if we didn't get to them when the flight landed. I'm fairly certain that had we not used their service I would still be trying to figure out how I was going to get my dogs to Germany. On top of that, I'm pretty sure they saved me getting grey hair with the amount of stress this move has been. 11/10, would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you for the exceptional service!

Back in July of 2020, at the height of the pandemic in the US, I was preparing to move to Germany. The process of moving my baby seemed very overwhelming and stressful, especially in Corona times, but they make it easy. Gracie’s journey was flawless from start to finish. This trip was Gracie’s first time on a place and was 14 years old at the time. I wanted the best for my baby girl, and I know I got it using their services. I can not say enough great things about Heather; she is amazing! I cannot recommend Continental Pet Relocation Services enough! My husband and I recently moved from North Carolina to Scotland and thanks to CPRS our 2 cats made it safe and sound! Kristi and Heather worked to ensure UK customs, British Air, our vet, and everyone else involved was on the same page and knew exactly where, when, and how to get things done. They even called our vet directly to ensure there was no confusion on getting necessary forms where they needed to go. I know the sticker price of a pet moving service may scare you, but I assure you CPRS is worth every penny. It was a tremendous weight off of our shoulders to know that our cats would be shipped appropriately and arrive safely. When moving to a new country you want things to be as smooth and uncomplicated as possible, and CPRS made sure the animal-side of our move went swimmingly!

We are so glad we hired them to help us. We have used Continental Pet Relocation twice now - once to take our sweet dog from the US -> UK, and recently used them again to bring him back to the states. Any international move is stressful, so when you pile on uncertainty with regards to Brexit AND COVID things can quickly get out of hand. In December 2020, I initiated plans to move my Golden Retriever, Sarah, from California to Scotland. Today (many months later) that was accomplished! Choosing Continental Pet Relocations to assist with this move was the best decision that I made - Kristi, Heather, and Katie are truly the best. They went above and beyond for months to make this a reality. A 5,888 mile journey is no small feat, but this one was sidelined and postponed for 10 months due to Covid and Brexit related pet embargo’s. Throughout that entire time, I was in constant communication with Kristi who kept me updated on the changing regulations, kept track of Sarah’s medical records and notified me when vaccine boosters were due (in accordance with UK requirements), and kept the hope alive that this move would be possible. When a flight was finally confirmed, I found the most stressful part to be the completion of the health certificate…. So many tiny details and moving pieces to coordinate. Kristi handled the details so I didn’t have to. She drafted all of the documents for my vet to sign, was on standby for the appointments, and personally reviewed every page prior to its submission to the USDA. I know there was a lot of back and forth with Kristi, the USDA, and the vet office to get everything in order and I couldn’t be more grateful! Even the cargo drop off in San Francisco was as stress free as possible. We were met by Katie who handled the check-in details and made sure the proper documentation was attached to the kennel. During the 48 hour journey, Kristi kept me posted at all times…. even when it was the middle of the night her time! I couldn’t be more thrilled that, today, Sarah arrived safely in Scotland! Now off on new adventures 🙂 When we move back to the US in 3 years, I wouldn’t dream of having anyone else handle the move. By the end of the process, Kristi felt like a friend! Thank you so much!
