As a thank you to trusting Continental Pet Relocation with your precious family member's relocation, we donate a portion of our proceeds to various organizations (pet owner's choice). This year, we added Mission K9 Rescue who helped "Kryno", a retired military dog, reunite with his handler in Germany. We are always open to adding recommended organizations!

Heather Blas

CEO & Pet Relocation Specialist

"Animals are my life! Growing up, I have always had pets, and my love for animals has only grown. As a child, I would try to find creative ways to raise money for shelter pets, which included painting rocks to sell door-to-door and lemonade stands. As an adult, I started my own pet care business having a true appreciation for the level of care and trust required when caring for family pets. As a military family, I recognized the need for expert pet travel options so I expanded my company to include relocation services. It is my passion to offer a professional service that facilitates the safe and effective transportation of pets. Continental Pet has grown over the years but we still operate as an intimate family business, offering a very personal touch with everything that we do! We are honored that so many pet owners book services with us repeatedly and refer us to other families. Our company culture is based around pet loving, professional and friendly customer service. I am so blessed to be able to help people with their pet relocation needs and hopefully we make their life easier during what can be a very stressful time. I take the responsibility very seriously and am so grateful for the pet owners that have trusted us again and again and also for the most amazing Continental Pet Relocation team! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children and 3 dogs, Wylie (Border Collie), Mac (Schnoodle) and Ozzie (Mini Aussie). We love to spend time outdoors hiking, traveling, and shooting photography."

She loves to travel with her family (especially to anywhere with a body of water), camping, and helping families relocate around the world with their pets!

Kate Hensel

Pet Relocation Specialist

A San Francisco native, Katie has been getting animals from one place to another since she was a child - just ask her mother about the collection of rats, lizards, and yes.. ducks. At 13, Katie started her professional relationship with animals, working in a pet store where she was paid in hamsters. From there, Katie parlayed her love of creatures great and small into a 15-year career as pet shipper, specializing in getting hard to ship creatures to and from hard to ship to places.

Her personal time is spent caring for a menagerie of beasts including two human children, a wild and adored puppy, two fish, a frog, and a wobbly cat to rule them all. Her soft spot for animals with unique challenges means you can probably find her browsing the want ads for that 60 pound aggressive three-legged tortoise looking for a new home.
