International Pet Relocation Services
At Continental Pet Relocation, we do all the leg (paw) work for you, so you focus your energy and attention on all the other essential aspects of your pet’s relocation. Every decision we make regarding your pet’s routing, itinerary, crate size, and planning is based on ensuring your pet’s highest quality of welfare.
Pet travel is a complicated, detailed process as each country has its import requirements that vary depending on your pet’s species, breed, and age. Airlines’ and countries’ regulations are constantly changing, and we keep up to date with all requirements to ensure your pet is compliant.
The logistics of your pet’s travel include meeting all IATA requirements with approved travel crates and minimum required connection times if your pet does not have a direct non-stop route. With a team of expert Pet Travel Consultants, Pet Handlers, and Veterinarians to make this possible, Continental Pet Relocation can facilitate the safe transport of pets worldwide, ensuring that all pets receive the best care and arrive with complete documentation to meet country import requirements.

Preparing Your Pet For International Pet Relocation
You can do a few things to ensure your pet is as well prepared as possible to enjoy a safe and comfortable flight. Pets can pick up on your energy, so remaining calm and confident in the pet travel process is essential.
We recommend getting your pet’s travel crate in advance of travel to allow them time to become acclimated to the crate. Creating a positive environment with a favorite bed, blanket, toys, and feeding time are helpful in crate introduction. You can also include one of your t-shirts for travel inside the crate so your pet will have an item with your scent on it.
Make sure your pet’s vaccines are all up to date, and all original vaccine documentation is kept in a safe place to avoid the possibility of the movers packing essential documents. For older pets or snubbed-nosed pets, we recommend having a more thorough vet exam, including blood testing, to ensure they are healthy for international pet relocation.
During travel, some pets can be anxious, and owners may ask about the possibility of a sedative. The airlines do not accept pets that have been sedated. Sedated pets can become disoriented, dehydrated, unable to stabilize themselves, and experience travel sickness.
